Dear Future Sponsor, 

Palmer Youth Basketball Association (PYBA) is about to begin its 33rd season providing basketball instruction to Palmer’s youth. We are a community-based organization run by volunteers whose shared vision is to provide the opportunity for organized sports to children in our community. 

This year, we will be offering an instructional program for students in Grades 1-2, instilling the fundamentals of basketball and fostering a love of the game. Our students in grades 3-8 will participate in the Quabbin Valley Basketball League and have the opportunity to try out for a suburban league competing against surrounding communities.  

As we plan for our 33rd season, we ask you to consider sponsoring the league for the upcoming year. Funds donated by sponsors are used toward costs of running the league such as gymnasium rental fees, cleaning, referee fees, equipment purchase, and uniforms. We ask that you partner with us again in providing an amazing opportunity for the youth of Palmer. We are pleased to report we have also been awarded 501c3 nonprofit status and all contributions from our sponsors are tax deductible. 

In return for your generous donation your company name and logo will be displayed on our website (www.palmeryouthbasketball.org) and our Facebook page where parents complete the registration process and find season updates. We will also feature your company in The Reminder and send you a copy of our league photo.  

Unfortunately, we have recently been informed that we have lost the use of our facilities at Converse Middle School this year and so we will need to rent time at surrounding gyms, which has significantly increased our registration fees. Our board has been working diligently to try to secure time at various nearby facilities and negotiate prices to try to offset the cost that is passed down to our local families. We are trying to work toward finding a new home for our league and for the youth of Palmer. We greatly appreciate your consideration of sponsorship for the 2024-2025 Palmer Youth Basketball Association season to help us offset these unexpected costs and price increases.
